In this Pleasure Show Driving Clinic, participants can choose their lesson focus from basic harness horse manners, exercises for precise aids and driving with both singles and pairs.

Cynthia teaches driving basics to beginners, and challenges more experienced whips to improve their performance in logical ways. Cynthia is highly skilled in the use of longlining as a training tool.

Horse Drawn Fire Fighting Apparatus Museum Tour on Thursday, July 21, 2022

WHERE:  Private home located in Madison, CT
Several CVDC members enjoyed a bring-your-own picnic and were treated to a tour of this lovely private collection of meticulously restored fire fighting pieces. Many of the wagons have been used in parades and in movies such as The Greatest Showman.

3RD ANNUAL FUN DAY on Saturday, September 3, 2022
WHERE: Greenbriar Farm, Norwich, CT
Drive your equines through a cones course, obstacles and a covered bridge to hone your skills for CDE's or pleasure classes! This is not a competition....just practice for you and your horse(s)! Rain date September 4th.

PLEASURE DRIVE on Sunday, October 16, 2022
WHERE: White Memorial Conservation Area, Litchfield, CT.  Join us for a pleasure drive on miles of beautifully groomed trails at this lovely preserve.

TURKEY TROT/ANNUAL MEETING on Sunday, November 20, 2022
WHERE: Woodland Farm, Lyme, CT
All club members are invited to drive or just meet!  Our drive takes us into the beautiful Nehantic State Forest, followed by a picnic lunch, Annual Meeting and Election of Officers.
