Fran Hornick is the guest speaker for CVDC’c August meeting. She will be giving a program on leatherwork. She owns a business called “Awl for the Horse” where she does all types of leatherwork and repairs.

The World Singles are complete and results are final! The US Team, made up of Robin Groves, Bill Peacock and Kim Stover, came in 11th place. RIDC’s Bob Koopman and locally-bred, Whippoorwill Keep Dancing, competing as individuals, finished 55th, with their best showing in marathon (not surprisingly). Kudos to all the competitors!

Due to the low number of drivers at last year’s Lord Creek Pace, the club has decided to make this event a regular club drive rather than a competition. The trail will be marked, slightly differently than in the past, and we are also looking into marking a course suitable for the VSE’s among us. [...]

CVDC’s Horse Driving Trail, held on June 12, 2010, brought 26 entries from near and far for some good driving and good fun.

Our judges, ADS judge Dana Bright and learner judge Susan Koso, scrutinized and critiqued their way through the morning dressage sessions, and Technical Delegate Craig Kellogg did the honors over on the cones [...]
