| Other Info | Seventh Annual CT Valley Driving Trial Haddam Meadows State Park Haddam, CT Beginner-friendly horse driving trial for Training and Preliminary levels. Divisions: Singles & Pairs; VSE, Pony, Horse Course flat and grassy like a golf course. Site along the lovely CT River. Generally few if any bugs. Bring your own shade and water. Cool-down water provided. Food vendor on the grounds. Lovely show, lots of volunteers on hand. Photos from last year's event in our Photos section! Directions to Show: From the North: I 91 south, take left Exit 22S(south) onto Rt. 9. Take Exit 10 off Rt. 9 to end of ramp, then right on Rt. 154 south for 4.5 miles. Haddam Meadows State Park is on the left. From the South: I 95 to Exit 69 and onto Rt. 9 north. Take Exit 7, merge onto Rt. 82. At light, left onto Rt. 154 north for 3.4 miles, Haddam Meadows State Park is on the right. THEN: On entering park, bear right, follow drive along field, parking at far end. Parking help will be available. Large rigs OK. |
