Program: High Hopes and Dianne Ciano of Ct. Horse Council
Diane Ciano and Meg Sautter will present The CT Horse Council’s Volunteer Horse Patrol Program. They are the Supervisors of the program that started in 2003 and has been established in over 50 areas throughout the state, including state parks, forests, Greenways, land trusts, open spaces, and town parks.

Ride & Drive Your Horse - while providing a valuable community service to the public and promoting horses on trails!
We’ll get a information on the history of the Horse Council and highlights to how this state council represents all aspects of the horse industry for our state’s equestrians.
Besides their busy schedule with maintaining a state wide patrol with over 80 members, Diane is the Trails Chairperson for the CHC and represents equestrians on various state boards and councils. Meg, a retired police officer also serves on the Trails Committee, and is an appointed member of the CT Equine Advisory Council. Meg is also a certified instructor of CPR & First Aid which is taught to the Volunteer Horse Patrol members.
